Appreciated our stay in this hotel. By and large, it was enjoyable base for sightseeing in Laragh, had much fun and met exceptionally nice and accommodating staff from senior managers to bar staff. We had excellent and good hot breakfasts at 8.15am. The location was fab next to the Glendalough visitor center.

The wonderful location. Excellent food. First room offered was clearly a smoking room. On request the receptionist had no hesitation in giving an alternative non smoking room. All staff friendly and most helpful

I do enjoy a bath and alternative room only had shower

    Nice room, pleasant staff

Door lock didn't work! Only staying one night, so not too bothered. There was also a dog 3 or 4 rooms away that barked a bit, but didn't stop me from sleeping.

This hotel has a stunning location within the Glendalough historical site and the Wicklow national park. The Glendalough ruins are literally a two minute walk from the hotel lobby. After 5 pm when the bulk of the tourists leave the area, it is idyllically peaceful. The staff are very helpful and efficient. The cuisine at the on site restaurant was excellent.

My room was directly above the kitchen, and the kitchen staff played music until late at night. The music was audible through the floor and lessened the tranquil beauty of this site.

The friendly staff and the amazingly wonderful locals has made this the best place in Ireland for me. Lovely hotel with lots of atmosphere! Set in the most beautiful valley. Needs more than a quick visit as so much to see. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

    You asked, I answered

Nestled in a amazing spot near ancient ruins and scenic lakes, the location shines bright. The comfy beds were a treat after long hikes. Breakfast had vegan options, but the food could use improvement. Check-in was tricky with delayed service, affecting my initial impressions. It's a place with potential, especially with its natural beauty!

I only stayed one night but I found the location excellent for exploring the mountains around Glendalough. The room was clean and comfortable, the food was lovely, and I enjoyed my stay.

The only small gripe I had was any time I had to go to reception there was rarely anyone there, and I had to wait 10-30 minutes waiting for services.

Location. Friendly, attentive staff. Good breakfast.

It could do with a good make-over. Cobwebs in room. Evidence of damp around window. Wallpaper peeling. Radiator erratic. Furniture looks tired. Restricted choice of channels on tv.
